What Is This?
This is a simple way of recording the score of an ongoing quiz.
You, as Question Master, ask a question that has 4 possible answers (one of which is correct).
Each team chooses their answer.
They also choose whether to 'game' or not...
'Gaming' is simply the flip of a coin. In this case either red or grey.
For a correct answer, they earn a point.
If they 'game' and they are correct and the coin flips to red they earn 2 points.
If they 'game' and they are correct and the coin flips grey they earn nothing.
If they don't 'game' and they are correct they get a point.
If they are incorrect they get no points.
The science says that after the spin of the coin there is a teachable moment...those who got it right have earned; those
who were excited to be in the 'game' are excited and even those who got it wrong are excited to see if those who were right
but 'gamed' might have messed it up!
At that moment - new knowledge should be shared... minds are more receptive at this time.
